Usage Options

If you will be assigning your weeks individually, then select the "Assign Individual Weeks" option on the planner. Once you select that option, you will see a list of all your weeks and your options.

Depending on eligibility, your usage options may include:
  • Lock-Off
    • Occupy or deposit master and guest suites separately.
    • Due to the complexity of this option, if selected you will be contacted by a Member Services Liaison.
  • Occupy full week or daily option
    • Occupy your full villa for the week or daily.
  • II Deposit
    • Full week is deposited with Interval International® and can be used to exchange for a week at another resort.
  • II Request
    • Occupy reservation will stay in place, unless your request for exchange to another resort with Interval International is fulfilled.
  • Trade for Marriott Bonvoy points
    • Receive Marriott Bonvoy points for your eligible week. Once submitted a Member Services Liaison will contact you for a credit card number* and to finalize your request. The deadline to trade your 2024 weeks for Marriott Bonvoy points is by December 31, 2023.
  • Rent full week or daily option
    • Rent your full villa daily or weekly through Grand Residence Club.
    • The best way to maximize your rentals is to return your rental preferences within 30 days of receiving the planner.
    • Tip: If you know that you will be renting some of your weeks, but are not sure which ones, place all the weeks you are considering in the rental program within 30 days of receiving the planner so you can be included in the first rental priority.
  • Elect your weeks to receive Club Points if you are enrolled in Abound by Marriott Vacations
    • The deadline to elect your 2024 weeks for Marriott Vacation Club Points is by September 30, 2023 for Members with Owner, Select or Executive Owner Benefit Levels, and on October 31, 2023 for Members with Presidential or Chairman's Club Owner Benefit Level.
    • Election option cannot be reversed.
*If you are enrolled into Abound by Marriott Vacations, the transaction fees are covered by your Club Dues and no credit card is necessary.
